Badgers group together!
28.04.17
As well as completing their stories, the children have also edited and improved their work. They have been practising their comprehension skills by reading a text and answering questions about what they have read. Children have also worked in groups to think about special events that happen in our lives.

Badgers have also been very busy this week in maths, working out subtraction and addition problems using a number line. They were also able to spot which operation they had to use to solve a word problem. They did this by reading the word problems and then sorting them into addition and subtraction piles.

With Mrs Sherring this week the children have been learning to play the note C on the recorder, playing a tune called "Samba". They have also learnt the musical symbol for a rest of one beat.

Next week we will do more work on comprehension skills in English, and in maths we will revisit multiplication and division.
Enjoy the long weekend everyone!
